Account & Data Deletion Instructions

At Flexus, we value your privacy and give you control over your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our services and want your account and associated personal information deleted from active systems, please follow the instructions below.

What Happens When You Request Deletion?

Account Removal

Your profile, login credentials, and personal settings will be deleted or de-identified from active systems, subject to the retention exceptions below.

Data Cleared

User-generated content, app preferences, and usage history linked to your identity will be deleted or de-identified from active systems, subject to legal, security, abuse-prevention, and backup rolloff exceptions.

Messenger Data

When you request deletion, the following messaging-related data will be removed:

  • Active message content and thread history
  • Media references and shared files
  • CRM thread links and conversation metadata
  • AI-generated derived content and response history
  • Consent records associated with your workspace, where legally permitted
  • Opt-out and suppression records, except where minimal retention is needed to honor unsubscribe or stop requests and prevent future unwanted contact
  • Integration tokens and supported messaging API credentials
  • Connected account metadata for supported messenger integrations, including Meta/WhatsApp integration records stored in Flexus

Exceptions

We only retain data that we are legally required to keep for financial auditing, tax purposes, fraud prevention, or legal obligations (such as transaction invoices), in strict compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations. Backup copies may exist for a limited period as part of standard backup rollover procedures.

Processing Time

Data deletion requests are processed manually by our team. Your request will be fulfilled within 30 days of your confirmation.

How to Request Data Deletion

To submit a manual data deletion request, follow these simple steps:

  1. Scroll down to the Data Deletion Request Form on this page.
  2. Enter the Email Address associated with the account you want deleted.
  3. Click the “Submit Deletion Request” button.
  4. Check Your Inbox: We will send a verification link to that email address to confirm your identity and prevent unauthorized deletions.
  5. Confirm: Click the link in the verification email. Once confirmed, our team will manually scrub your data from our systems.

If you experience any issues with the form, you can also email your request directly to our privacy officer at hello@flexus.team with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.

Identity Verification

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletions, we verify the identity of all deletion requesters:

  • Workspace Admins: Must submit the request from the email address associated with the workspace owner or admin account
  • Connected Business Representatives: Must provide proof of authorization to act on behalf of the business
  • End Customers: If you are an end customer of a business using Flexus, please contact that business directly. Flexus processes data on behalf of our business customers, who are the data controllers for end customer data

Deletion Scope

Our deletion process covers:

  • Active message content and conversation history
  • Media references and uploaded files (where deletion APIs support it)
  • CRM thread links and workspace associations
  • AI-generated content and derived insights
  • Debug traces and logs containing personal data
  • Provider-uploaded files, Meta/WhatsApp integration data, connected account metadata, and integration tokens
  • User profiles, preferences, and workspace settings

Retention Exceptions

We may retain certain data where required by:

  • Security and fraud prevention measures
  • Legal obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Active litigation or investigation holds
  • Backup systems during standard rollover periods

Expected Completion

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
